Daily Routine Paragraph in the Past Tense (Regular & Irregular Verbs)
Yesterday was a long but enjoyable day for me. I woke up early in the morning and prepared my breakfast. I wanted to drive the car to school, but I decided to walk because the weather looked nice. When I got to school, I met my friend Samir at the gate. He gave me the notebook that I left in the classroom the day before. I thanked him and we talked for a few minutes about our homework. After that, I entered the class, opened my bag, and wrote the answers to one last exercise because I almost forgot it at home.
During the first lesson, the teacher explained a new topic and showed us a short video. She also told us to write a summary and send it to her by email before the end of the day. I finished the work quickly and sent it right away. During the break, my phone fell from my pocket again, but this time it didn’t break, and nothing bad happened. I picked it up and kept it safely in my bag.
Later, I went to the library to study for a test. I read a few pages from a book and answered some practice questions. Before leaving, I organized my notes and cleaned my desk. When school ended, I walked to the bus stop and caught a bus home. The bus arrived late, so I waited for almost twenty minutes, but I didn’t mind because I listened to music while waiting.
At home, my mother brought some fresh fruit, and we ate lunch together. After that, I helped her wash the dishes and watched a short TV show. In the afternoon, I worked on my science project. I built a small model, took a picture of it, and showed it to my friends in our group chat. They liked it and shared some new ideas. We all chose the best design and planned to finish the project on the weekend.
In the evening, I relaxed in my room, read a short story, and finally slept early because I felt very tired after a long, busy day.
